Kenneth's proudest career accomplishment speaks volumes about his leadership philosophy. When he accepted his current role, the Fort Worth branch was in a transitional period. Under his guidance, the team has doubled their on-rent percentage, cut unavailable equipment by 60%, and positioned themselves as a productive branch with a "can do" attitude recognized throughout the organization. "My team consistently gets praised for their ability and willingness to go above and beyond, and it is fulfilling to be a part of something special here," Kenneth shares.
His leadership hasn't gone unnoticed by upper management, who describe Kenneth as demonstrating "commitment" and being "dynamic" every day. They praise his caring attitude with his team and everyone he interacts with, noting how he's always willing to go above and beyond—even adjusting delivery schedules to help other branches with trucking needs when issues arise. Kenneth has also initiated changes to shop operations that have improved throughput and efficiency, helping equipment availability across the entire region.
What Kenneth enjoys most about his role is "the everyday grind and the team that I get to work alongside of." He thrives on the daily challenges and has learned to be dynamic and strategic in his approach. "I enjoy seeing those around me develop into integral parts of our success and being a part of their growth along the way," he explains. This investment in his team has built what he calls "a cohesive team that is top notch in every department."
For Kenneth, everything starts with being ethical. "I believe that it is important to have integrity in all that you do. Doing things right the first time and to the best of your ability are the building blocks that allow the rest of our values fall into place." At the Fort Worth branch, they talk about being dynamic frequently, and Kenneth has seen tremendous success by focusing on positively impacting both internal and external customers while building and fostering relationships.
When he's not leading his team to new heights, Kenneth is equally dedicated to his family. He and his wife Allyson stay busy with their four children: Truman (16), Kellyn (13), Harrison (11), and Everett (10). The Duncan family loves anything involving beaches, having traveled to Mexico, the Dominican Republic, and all along the Gulf. As devoted local sports fans, they support the Rangers, Cowboys, Mavs, and Horned Frogs year-round. Kenneth particularly enjoys taking trips with his wife, playing baseball and fishing with his boys, and puzzling with his daughter. The family stays active volunteering at church and in their children's schools while supporting each child in their sports, hobbies, and academics.
